Manager, Finance (FPNA)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide overall regional guidance for long-range planning, annual operating plan, and budgeting processes, as well as semi-annual reforecasting activities.
- Collaborate with senior members of the regional financial and commercial finance teams to organize an annual planning calendar that aligns strategy plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Partner with local country business partners, finance directors, and their teams to review estimates, budgets, and historical results, understanding timelines, templates, reporting requirements, and global standards.
- Advise regional leaders on interpretation of insightful analysis of emerging trends and shifts to support critical business decisions.
- Partner with local county teams, accounting COE, FP&A managers, and corporate teams within commercial and manufacturing/supply chain organizations to understand, execute, and support decision-making that aligns with the objectives of operational excellence.
- Effectively communicate global FP&A group’s key design initiatives to key stakeholders/wider organization through senior management.
- Support the implementation of new operating models for FP&A within the region and with the COE team.
- Partner with regional leaders to execute standardized practices and share best practices with local leaders.
- Assist in transforming the finance organizational mindset from reactive to proactive.
- Deliver strategic add-hoc reporting with strategic ad-hoc reporting capabilities by tracking business performance using heavy financial analysis to facilitate decision making and business partnership.
- Assist in preparing future KPIs required to meet business and financial strategic objectives.
- Learn and grow opportunities to enhance business analytics intelligence.
- Promote robust, collaborative relationships between R&A organization and regional stakeholders through trusted data and information exchange.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
- CA/CWA/CPA/MBA preferred.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Demonstrated proficiency in key financial competencies and capabilities, typically with 15+ years of relevant experience, including financial planning and reporting and decision support.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong ownership mentality; focused on completing projects and delivering outputs/results.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and organize concurrent workstreams and to align them with career goals and objectives.
- Ability to drive effective change management by organizing and executing change in a structured manner.
- Ability to lead and work in a team-based environment and demonstrate impact and influence at a large scale.
- Strong business acumen and a track record of success in driving business initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial and operational data analysis and reporting, healthcare tools and services industry experience preferred.
- Technical and financial acumen, including an understanding of accounting principles and relevant business environments.
- Expertise in complex projection/forecasting methodologies and providing guidance and advice that impacts other activities such as pricing, financial planning, etc.
- Broad technical and financial knowledge, including a deep understanding of internal controls and accounting principles, as well as relevant business environments.
- Expertise in new financial modeling and statistical techniques and selecting appropriate techniques to solve issues at hand.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, and Cognos helpful.
